Our Story

Brad Bacon began his journey in the plumbing industry at a young age, working his way up from a helper to a licensed plumber. With a passion for hard work and a commitment to excellence, Brad gained invaluable experience working for various companies. However, he dreamed of building a business that truly valued its customers and employees.

In 2011, Brad took a leap of faith and started Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric out of his garage in Rockwall, TX. Armed with his personal truck and a determination to make a difference, he began serving customers with a focus on quality workmanship and unparalleled customer service. With the support of his wife and family, the company quickly grew.

Our Company Timeline

Early to Mid-1990's
  • Brad began his career in plumbing at the age of 17 at one of the largest plumbing companies in Texas where he learned the fundamentals of residential new construction.
  • After obtaining his plumbing license, he progressed from being a helper to running his own truck within the company.
2008–2009
  • The market downturn during the Great Recession leads Brad to start considering entrepreneurship.
2011
  • With a growing family and a clear vision for his future, Brad founded Bacon Plumbing.
  • The company began modestly with a single truck operating out of a home garage.
  • Within the first six months, recognizing the need to focus on sales and job scheduling, Brad hired his first helper.
2012-2017
  • With equipment and supplies outgrowing his garage space, he leased a small warehouse in Rockwall Texas to better manage inventory, add people, and grow the business.
  • Bacon expanded beyond residential work, leveraging builder relationships to secure commercial accounts, medical gas installations, and dental office projects.
  • The "Everyone Loves Bacon" slogan was adopted after the company wrapped its trucks with the phrase.
  • Brad involved his children in the business, laying the foundation for a family legacy.
2018
  • Brad joined the Nexstar Network, a group dedicated to honing home services practices and customer service, to ensure Bacon's customers receive honest, dependable home repairs.
  • Recognizing the enhanced value of comprehensive service, he broadened Bacon Plumbing's offerings to include HVAC and electric solutions.
2023
  • A Plano office was opened to reduce response times and enhance local service.
2024
  • We marked our expansion into Houston by launching an office in Spring, TX, bringing our trusted services to a whole new community.
2025
  • To meet increasing demand, we opened a Fort Worth office to enhance our ability to deliver prompt, reliable services.
